Who is the most intelligent person you know?

My structural engineering professor back in the 70's at Purdue. He was an internationally reknowned expert on dome structures. He couldn't handle being so intelligent and drank alot. Didn't show up at times for lectures. Looked like Clark Gable. He built the world's largest sailboat actually made out of reinforced concrete. He and one of the students took a sailing trip on it in the Caribbean. Sadly he was washed overboard in a bad storm and was never seen again.

In terms of Academia, This Guy named Dr Adrian McFarlane, he is an ordained Minister, Doctor of Philosphy and has about 14 letters after his name, taught at Oxford University in the UK and taught at some private school in the US.really interesting guy and great to talk to....... In terms of "Street smart" intelligence, My Uncle

I know many intelligent people, some even use SC... it's hard to compare them. They are intelligent in different ways.
I'm not intelligent enough to pick the most intelligent.

My uncle. He teaches stat courses for psychology. He's borderline genius but his people skills are lacking.

Um, I don't know many.

(Do not include one off meetings?????) There are different measures of intelligence and no 'one' can be compared to/against 'another'. Experience and wisdom are pretty individual and topic oriented.

No that I am really chuckling, CK because that would be insensitive but after reading your professor's big build up....your last sentence just took me by surprise! The reinforced concrete and all.

My brother, but he is not alive any more. He could give you an answer to any math problem even several digits faster than a calculator, he could play a complicated song on the piano, after watching someone play it first.
