I said no... I'm not going to go into it, I'm not comfortable with how weird it is.

No; my best friend and I had an imaginary world, though. We had very theoretical "husbands" in that world, but they weren't developed as characters with personalities to speak of. And we had dolls that were our "children."

Yes, but we didn't get along. She was a backstabber. She talked about me constantly behind my back and kept trying to steal my boyfriends!

Yep. She lived in my mirror. My middle name was her first name and my first name was her middle name. She would warn me when the portal in the back of my closet was going to open, so I could leave my room before the monsters came out.
I was a weird kid...

Yes I did but I have no idea why. I called him "Little Boy" and I was about four. He lived outside in the cement foundation of our home, and in the walls...inside. I am sure that this did not last very long, ending when I started school. I can recall no other details (except we ate together)

Since I was an only child and spent most of my time alone, that is all I had for the most part.

At first, your comment reminded me of Anne Shirley's mirror-friend in the Anne of Green Gables books. My heart was warmed for a second as I reflected on my favorite stories.....

Then I read further....

> She would
> warn me when the portal in
> the back of my closet was
> going to open, so I could
> leave my room before the monsters
> came out.
> I was a weird kid...

...and you sort of shocked my senses * laughing out loud * .
