"Send him/her my regards!" How often do you actually pass this on?

Rarely

I usually phrase it differently, but I do it occasionally ("sometimes").

Sometimes, if I remember to.

Only if the person was in or on Broadway.

it's not never... sometimes I even send regards without having been asked to do so

sometimes, If I remember and more if I am seeing the person soon

Never, but occasionally I might say something like "Tell him (or her) hi (or hello) for me."

Sometimes, sort of. I don't say "Whatshisface sends his regards" I say "Whatshisface says hi"

I will say this in a professional situation with those I have a business relationship with, but this is something that I would not really say in my personal life.

If I remember...always

rarely. I don't ask others to pass along my empty greetings either because I obviously am not interested enough to get in touch with them myself or I wouldn't be asking someone else to do it. I also hate the cute or touching emails some constantly forward yet never take the time to write two personal lines of interest. Perhaps this is the reason I am on SC getting to know absolute strangers. I suppose that is how we all start out our relationships though.
