Which of these vampire traits do you agree with?

With the recent surge in vampire popularity, due to movies like Twilight, there has been a lot of talk going on regarding what vampire features are inherent to the mythical creature. People view it differently - some say that vampires can't be killed just by steaks others think that vampires are not good looking, but evil hideous creatures. Which of the following vampire features are, in your opinion, the way vampires should be?

dab	posted 28-Oct-2009 8:30am Steaks are usually made from meat and are yummy. They have no particular effect on vampires because vampires don't eat; I suppose they might cause an upset stomach to the vampire.

Enheduanna	posted 28-Oct-2009 1:55pm Musts: pale; fangs; stakes through the heart, direct sunlight, fire, and decapitation are all fatal, but only one is needed; aversion to garlic and crosses; must be invited in; make other vampires by biting and being bitten in return (so a combination of biting and transfusion, I guess). Optional: very good looking or very ugly/hideous; no shadow; no reflection.

When I was at uni I did an essay on the history of the vampire, which involved me buying a Vampire Encyclopaedia, which is probably one of the best reads I've ever had and I love vampire stuff, so I'm loving this whole vampire popularity at the moment. With the notable exception of anything written by Stephanie Meyer. Anyway, sunlight is a must kill for any self respecting vampire, stake, fire, decapitation. They can't come in unless you invite them, they have super speed, strength and senses (otherwise what is the point?). Good survey :)
