Have you ever been involved in a running hug?

I (barely) remember one when I was a fairly young kid (8?). My best friend Eric had been away for a long time, and we'd missed each other. So, we did the running hug thing. I remember it was in his driveway. I forget the details otherwise, though. Like where he had been (maybe summer camp?) or for how long. He moved away a couple years later as well and we saw each other less and less. Though, I recently reconnected with him on facebook, it was kind of weird too.

Synchronicity. Is that how you spell it?

Mare and I have been doing this before bed for the past two weeks. Last night, I charged toward her for the bedtime hug like a bull.

Once when Brazil won the World's Cup, I was walking outdoors in my Brazil soccer shirt just after the news that they won, and this woman held out her arms and ran right up to me for a hug. Cab drivers were honking a lot.

Yes. I did that with somebody at church two wednesdays ago? It was when the silly string attack took place. Then last wednesday me and some other girl tried to have a running hug, but she stopped because she was afraid haha. I have to embrace all of these people everytime I see them because I don't get to go to youth group anymore because I'm old and creepy.
But yeah, running hugs are the only way to go. Unless you're wearing heels..then I guess it becomes a falling hug.
