What would someone conclude about you if they researched you on the web?

Mostly accurate information, but a couple of years ago, I posted stuff that was more volatile than I really am. if you saw that stuff, you might think I was kind of mean. So I hope if anyone saw that, they would also see this. Haha

Mostly accurate. Some outdated info. I wouldn't mind more Web presence and am fairly happy with what's there.

When I google myself I don't even come up, but my brother does. I'm angry.

There's pretty much accurate stuff, but I wonder if it would harm my chances of getting a job or something if the employer didn't like that I'm a Satanist. I don't really care though.

You won't find anything about me if you Google my name but if you look up "EastYorkDisneyFan" you will find out a lot about me.

Heh. I've googled myself a few times in the past and come up with pretty much what I expected. I just googled myself now and was surprised to find this about 5 down from the top on the first page of hits: http://www.spectacle.org/0301/letters.html Mine is the first letter that comes up on that page, concerning an essay titled "Minority Rule". Damn, that @exis.net email address for me is old! It's amazing how stuff just kinda floats around in there that long...

My own site is terribly out of date.

My company is listed as a 'non-commercial medical research company'. Apparently I'm a bigger hypochondriac than I thought.
Oddly though, that actually is pretty much my current contracting assignment. How they knew though, I'm not sure.

That hadn't even occurred to me. I was more concerned whether companies and portals re/listing info on you without your consent were accurate.

You should stop by again. I promise I won't look. Wackadoo has a new job and can't get on line very much there. And when she's home, the last thing she wants to see is the internet. There is a huge mud bog down the street on the 24th. I have to go early, as I help put it on, but Wackadoo usually shows up to see the fun when it all starts around 1. This site would provide an incredible amount of information that is all accurate except for those occasions when I tell obvious lies in order to be amusing.

Did you know, if you put your first part of your e-mail in google it will show where you were.
For example, try gubgdon381. I wish I had used a different e-mail, I hope none of my family or friends try this.

last I checked, I was fairly ungooglable.

Okay, here's what could be found with some light searching:

- I belong to a website called Geni.com.
- I am on Facebook, with a profile set to private.
- I have posted comments in the Facebook Help Center.

Deeper searching:
- I was sued by a bank for a credit card that I was only an authorized signer on. It was my sister's. It was dismissed in court - I was not responsible.
- I was evicted once in the 90's.

Yeah, they don't publicisize the private file, the one with boot fetishes, your opinions of your relatives, and helpful hints, like how you will buy into something more if distracted by humorous nature tales of small furry critters.

Are we referring to my private sc file? I try to go to great lengths to hide it. I look at it as a record of my thoughts and experiences. I'd hate to be outed and have to abandon it.
