Where does your singing range fall into?

If you don't already know, try this (this guide is just an approximation, you would need to consult a trained musician to help you determine your singing voice):

For Females:
If you're comfortable hitting most notes in I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston, there's a good chance you're a Soprano.
If you're comfortable hitting most notes in Woman In Love by Barbra Streisand, there's a good chance you're a Mezzo-Soprano.
If you're comfortable hitting most notes in Unbreak My Heart by Toni Braxton, there's a good chance you're an Alto.

For males:
If you're comfortable hitting most notes in We Are The Champions by Queen, there's a good chance you're a Tenor.
If you're comfortable hitting most notes in Can You Feel the Love Tonight by Elton John, there's a good chance you're a Baritone.
If you're comfortable hitting most notes in Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe by Barry White, there's a good chance you're a Bass.

Dunno. I have never tried singing those songs, especially the one I can't stand.

Well, I am absolutely horrible at "I Will Always Love You" - I can never hit those notes. Guess I'm not a Soprano
I'm pretty good at "Unbreak my Heart" - could be an Alto (The notes I can't reach could be because I'm not this, or could be due to lack of practice)
Have never tried"Woman in Love" - don't know about this one

*edited to add* Don't know if this helps at all, but I can always hit every single note of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing". Since that's a male voice, not sure if it's relevant. However, I can play that one on RockBand and get 100% every single time (On expert level and without looking at the screen)

By this scale, then, an alto. I always had to have deep harmonies for myself in choir * wry smile *

When I was in 8th grade (~14 years old) they said I was baritone. I have no data points since then, though.

My signing range falls somewhere between crappy and very crappy. Oh, wait, you meant frequency range, not ability. Well, that I can't tell you. Um, bass?

I can cover the ranges from Baritone to Mezzo-Soprano. I can hit most of the notes in the songs at the ends (Bass, Soprano) but some are a stretch and I couldn't keep them up for long.

I was a soprano, until my vocal cords were damaged. At least I can still sing. (I'm a mezzo, btw.)

I can't hit any notes in anything. I can't hear subtle differences between notes. If you play a very high note, and then a very low note, I can tell you which is which. But any closer together, and I would struggle, even within a single octave. Asking me to say whether I could comfortably hit notes in any particular song is like asking me how many oranges constitute a poodle - it simply doesn't compute.
