Is Kanye West a douchebag?

It's funny, when he said "George Bush doesn't care about black people." it was cool. Shows my bias, I guess.

But, this Taylor Swift thing didn't come off so well. I think he did something wrong here and he knows it.
His action was douchy/jackassy, but I think the person behind it can learn from the experience and be a better person.

Right after this happened and the Interwebs were all aflutter with Kanye anger, I was formulating this brilliantly sarcastic facebook status update (I really prefer Twitter, but the 140 limit would have made it impossible). But, I didn't manage to do it before it all calmed down again. It was going to be something like this:

"I am utterly and absolutely OUTRAGED by what happened to poor, poor innocent Taylor Swift (who, I know almost nothing about -- couldn't even name a song by her) at the hands of the dastardly and ruthless Kanye West (who, I'm only slightly more familiar with -- I fast-forwarded by his performance on SNL last year, didn't really like it). The sanctity and goodness of our TV awards shows (which I never watch because they are just awful) must not be violated in this way!!!"

Yes, Kanye's a complete douche. Taylor is not the first person he has done that to.

yep he has been in the past and most recently a jackass. this isn't the first time he has done something like this.

Not quite a douche since he didn't mean any harm. Definitely a jackass, a jackass with a huge ego to boot. And also a gayfish on top of that.

I don't think he meant to be so intrusive. He probably just thought he was doing a cool thing at the time. I don't really know.

Come to think it, its a bit unfair to pick on Kanye. The MTV Music Awards in general bring out the douche in musicians. Making an ass out of yourself at the awards might as well be a rite of passage in the musicians circle.

Seriously, ever year without fail some crap goes down. Once it was Kid Rock and Tommy Lee getting into it. Then it was one of the guys from RATM climbing onto some sort of tree thing in the background. There was Nirvana about to start singing Rape Me. There was that annoying dog getting on Agulara's nerves. And don't get us started on Enimem.

I think people have to stand up to what they believe.

I think Kanye West behavior was rude, he has no taste. And him being drunk is no excuse.

David walked into Kanye West yesterday, literally! He was walking along texting and there loads of screaming girls, this car swished around and he hopped out and walked across a couple of metres to get to this gig (HMV in Manchester) and David walked straight into him. He said 'Sorry pal'
