| Frostbrand | posted 23-Sep-2009 1:57pm No, but at the same time I think some of it's critics make a fair point, such as the lack of corresponding information. |
| Wicksy | posted 23-Sep-2009 3:14pm No, but I am not Jewish nor am I HIV positive |
| Iseult | posted 23-Sep-2009 4:22pm I don't care. |
| Crayons | posted 23-Sep-2009 5:32pm Hitler is hot, I don't care what anyone says, and he certainly does not have AIDs or HIV.
Okay, so they're saying that AIDs is a mass murderer. Okay, I get it. I don't think it's the best thing to say, but it catches attention and freaks people out. But I don't think it does it in the right way. Offensive? Not to me, but I don't really blame people for being upset either. |
| Enheduanna | posted 23-Sep-2009 6:44pm I don't find it offensive, but I also don't think it would be particularly effective. I think it's reasonable for them to think that some people watching it would connect Hitler to the people with AIDS, rather than to the disease itself. |
| cerealkiller | posted 23-Sep-2009 8:32pm How can I say? Was there a link to view it? |
| bill | posted 24-Sep-2009 6:02am It seems like an odd association to be making, doesn't really fit. But, I guess it got them a lot of attention, so maybe it worked?
Here's a link to the ad/video: http://aids-ist-ein-massenmoerder.de/typo3/index.p... [warning: strong sexual content] |

| Melf | posted 26-Sep-2009 3:23pm Ok, thanks for the link, Bill.
I like the campaign we have here (or did recently) with people wearing belts and knickers and such that have the names of STDs written on as part of the design. I can't find it on youtube. But it's funny, and effective, and not scary. What I don't like about this is how all the responsibility is placed on the man. But I get the point. |
