What should we do with you when you are old and infirm?

Try to be self sufficient, take responsibility for yourself. If the point comes that one literally can't take care of themselves, I feel it is the children's responsibility to take care of their parents. If there are no children, then go into an assisted living facility.

Give me treatments to make me no longer infirm. I think it's time we learned to cure the infirmities of aging.

When I'm too old to take care of myself I don't want to be a burden on anyone, not my kids, not my husband, not the rest of my family, not anyone.

I hope my children will take care of me, after all of the crapty diapers I had to change. They owe me

If I have a spouse/partner who can take care of me, then that would be my first choice. Then children, if I have any. If I don't have family to care for me, or if I have become too difficult to care for (advanced stages of something), then nursing home.

I want to be a wicked old lady who doesn't wear panties and flashes teenage boys only to blame it on my oldness. If I can't do that, kill me.

There's a chance, I might not live to old age.

Hopefully, if this situation ever comes up, it will be early autumn and I will be living in an area where Liberty Cap or Big Laughing Gym mushrooms can be found. The final Vision Quest...

I really dont know............ I hate the fact of getting old, to a point where I amble& shuffle everywhere and need 2 hr naps in the afternoon, if I cannot feed myself or unable to use the bathroom by myself or am bedridden .fudging kill me

That sounds good, but I'm afraid I would be in horrible pain.....................well wait, I could grow my own mushrooms umm medicines. Ok, sounds good to me.

Yeesh, what a depressing view of old age most of you have... Even infirm elderly people can take a lot of pleasure in life and in those around them. There are plenty of exceptions of course, but old age and infirmity aren't inevitably going to make you miserable.
