| Crayons | posted 18-Sep-2009 8:52pm Maybe a dollar, borrowed from a friend or something. That counts as a debt, right? I've never had a credit card or anything of course, and I really don't plan to get one for everyday use unless I'm sure I'll be able to pay for it on time. I'm a bargain hunter, I'm sure I won't have money troubles. You never know. |
| RainingFeathers | posted 18-Sep-2009 11:49pm I've never had any debts (though I'm about to, as I've just bought a house. Definitely plan on paying this off though...) |
| they | posted 19-Sep-2009 12:17am Total? Probably about 4-5 grand. I walked away about 4 years ago. I don't regret it. I got left high and dry by my daughter's father. I was stuck in a car lease that I couldn't afford. I racked up a lot of debt trying to keep us fed while I still made the car payments. I finally let them take the car too.... and ended up only owing about $50 after they auctioned it. |

Maybe 5 bucks once by forgetting to pitch in for pizza or something, as if I was never on the other end. |
| Enheduanna | posted 19-Sep-2009 1:13pm By walk away from, do you mean default on? I have never defaulted on a debt. I always pay them off. |
| LindaH | posted 19-Sep-2009 6:10pm never done this |
| cerealkiller | posted 19-Sep-2009 10:24pm $440,000 on our house we abandoned last July. The bank just now took it back under foreclosure last week. The value of the house is now only about $100,000 so it was not work keeping it. It will likely be 10 years or more if ever that it would get back to the previous value. |
| Zang | posted 9-Oct-2009 2:05pm I pay my debts. I assume that's what you mean. If you mean people owing me money, $100 and $150. I would gladly accept repayment, but I'm not expecting it. |
