| LindaH | posted 13-Sep-2009 3:04pm It doesn't matter to me. I must be weird. I don't care if people want to talk about their favorite topics over and over and over. After all, talking is more about the deliverer than the receiver. People who get tired of topics to the point they want the person to move on to something else are crappy listeners. |
| Wicksy | posted 13-Sep-2009 3:12pm I find them boring but I like you |
| cerealkiller | posted 13-Sep-2009 4:13pm Sure, but you're still gonna have to be partially naked to make a socially significant statement. |
| gambler | posted 13-Sep-2009 4:56pm More clothing surveys would be okay ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am more interested in the "why" whats the focus? are you insecure about your dress sense? has someone criticised your "wardrobe"?, do you seek social acceptance?, is an unbuttoned shirt OK at a "formal" breakfast as long as its Nautica/Ralph Lauren (the standard one NOT the Purple collection)? does a matching hand bag and shoes HAVE to come from the same designer? is it really that much of a faux pas to pair a Prada handbag with Ferragamo sling backs? is "Coach" thaaat much of a step down from "Bally" when attending a luncheon with girl friends?......do we run the risk of sacrificing comfort for fashion? |
| LindaH | (reply to cerealkiller) posted 13-Sep-2009 5:16pm More clothing surveys, less clothing. Is that what you're saying?
Now if we only knew who from sc has a webcam... |
| Biggles | posted 13-Sep-2009 5:27pm If you want - as long as they are well-made, I'm happy |
| LindaH | (reply to Biggles) posted 13-Sep-2009 6:07pm Why are people so fearful? |
| Galomorro | posted 13-Sep-2009 6:47pm Sure - it's interesting to read about what other people like and dislike, look for, etc. re clothes |
| Biggles | (reply to LindaH) posted 13-Sep-2009 7:23pm Sounds like a good survey question to me |
| Iseult | posted 14-Sep-2009 1:23am I'd be okay with it. |
| Iseult | (reply to gambler) posted 14-Sep-2009 1:33am Check the qual. |
| gambler | (reply to Iseult) posted 14-Sep-2009 12:22pm OMG!! |
| Iseult | (reply to gambler) posted 14-Sep-2009 12:47pm Now you'll have the answer to all your questions. |
| icurok | posted 14-Sep-2009 1:09pm Only if you want to perpetuate the notion that you're a one-dimensional persona. |
| LindaH | (reply to icurok) posted 14-Sep-2009 1:30pm Usually one-topic-ponies that are true one dimensional personas are obsessed with sex, nudity or some totally offensive (most likely insincere) crap-stirring opinion. |
| cloudhugger | posted 14-Sep-2009 2:48pm Other. It's your durveys, it's your life. It's fine. Really. Do not, please do not, change your style or your likes and dislikes because I am ot interested.
don't let anyone bully you into thinking you have to do what they want. Maybe that is more deep than the question was intended for, but I got into a roll. |
| mandy | posted 14-Sep-2009 2:48pm go for it |
| cloudhugger | posted 14-Sep-2009 2:50pm I just went to qual... This will only inspire others to make more surveys. |
| LindaH | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 14-Sep-2009 2:57pm Should I make more surveys on unwarranted suspicion and self righteous busybodies, or no?

| LindaH | (reply to icurok) posted 14-Sep-2009 4:56pm Haha. True. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to LindaH) posted 15-Sep-2009 5:45pm please... |
| LindaH | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 15-Sep-2009 6:52pm I really don't think of many I haven't done before and the ones I do think of, I forget. Probably much to the relief of people who are sick of those.
But you just wait... I may think of a good one yet... and remember it... muahahhahaaa... |
| Enheduanna | posted 15-Sep-2009 8:00pm I'm answering this a little late; I gather that the overwhelming response was "go ahead," judging from the batch of surveys I just answered. |
