Who do you run your ideas past?

Do you have ideas that you need to 'bounce' off of other people in order to help you figure a few things out.
Do you tend to run your ideas past people who are mostly encouraging? Or do you run past the ideas puposefully to people who tend to be critical? Is there someone that you have that is a bit of both, mostly neutral, that you like to bounce ideas off of?
Is there someone who says nothing but is just a good listener, so hearing your ideas out loud is good enough.

Biggles	posted 12-Sep-2009 7:33pm Mostly I just run them by myself. I do use my Mum as a sounding board quite often, but she does tend towards positive encouragement a bit too much. I also run things by some of my friends, though mostly that would be medical ideas getting run by my medical friends.

Kristal_Rose	posted 12-Sep-2009 9:52pm I'd be happy with a listening ear. Best would be really objective and able to creatively run further with the idea off each other. What I tend to get though is pure negativity. I'm told my ideas are useless all the time then prove them wrong as the ideas become popular.

cerealkiller	posted 13-Sep-2009 1:54am I tend to make the mistake of telling my wife when I have important issues to decide. I am a Scorpio ISTJ and think everything out in rational, intellectual fashion. She on the other hand just goes by her intuitions and how it feels to her. That means nothing to me.
