I don't actually know it's from the movie seeing as I never watched it, but they used it for the trailer.

I love the Sound of Music, music. There are several others, can't think of them offhand

The only thing I can think of is "Tristeza" from the soundtrack of "Orfeu Negro" (Black Orpheus - 1957).

Oh, I thought of one. The soundtrack for Garden State. It is just perfect. Just, plain, perfect.

It is/they are... The Power of Love and Back in Time from Back to the Future movies. First time I hear Huey Lewis and really liked his music since. American Girl by Tom Petty form Silence of the Lambs. Really, there is probably too many I could never think of them all.

Of the top of my head: The 'Boots' medley in 'Kinky Boots.
A four song combo of 'These boots are made for walking', 'In these shoes', 'Cha-Cha Heels' and '(zipping up my boots)Going back to my roots'

But there are better.

I like the music from Donnie Darko and The Matrix a lot. No others really come to mind.

I think so. I prefer it to Imogen Heap's solo stuff, which is also worth checking out but not as good.

I have few songs by her. The thing is, two months ago I recieved about 30gigs of music from my friend and my sister, so I've been trying to listen through all of it (and delete what I dislike). I'm going alphabetically, artist by artist. I'm currently on O. I sort of liked what I heard by Imogen Heap but it's really hard to single things out between few thousand new songs.

Ha, that does sound like a bit of a mission. Let me know if anything stands out - I'm always on the lookout for something new to listen to.

What type of music do you like? I love recommending music to people.

I know everyone says this, but it's literally a bit of everything. Well, with the exception of hiphop/rnb and jazz. And indie.

Well here are some highlights I only discovered through listening to their music: Charles Aznavour (he's an old French singer, one of those classical chansoniers), Mes Aieux and Les Cowboys Fringants (French-Canadian neo-folk bands), and KMFDM (German industrial techno/trance/metal, really depending on the album - I've known of them before but I never really got into their music).

No, just the male genre. Or did I forget a 'D' and twist around an "R" and an "E"? Not sure.

Any that I'm familiar with... which is almost any. I don't know much about jazz, grunge, or classical rock.
