If you were to create a fictional sports team for a novel, movie, or TV series, what would you name it, and what sport would they play?

I used to enjoy playing football management games (despite having no interest in the actual sport). I'd usually use some minor city/town team, but sometimes I'd use a made up name: Lightning Villa.

'Cross-country football', played in trenches, marshes, trees, and such. The only real rule is that each team requires a member to have their video camera on the ball to get yardage. You can trip, carry a member off, or even build traps, but no hitting anyone with anything. If the camera loses the ball, the ball is placed where it was last in camera in a hand, and both sides form a ring (alternating team members) around the ball and charge at it. Camoflage, human barricades, ambushes. For night games you play with a glowing ball. Oh yes, and the goals would be like on a golf course, each new goal per team assigned randomly, possibly even the same goal for both teams at once. Imaginative new moves like handing off the camera or tossing players over walls are highly encouraged.

The audience could be the referees, voting with buttons on screen regarding fouls or off-camera.
