| Enheduanna | posted 7-Sep-2009 12:54pm If they want to. And they should only shave their legs if they want to as well. |
| bill | posted 7-Sep-2009 1:27pm I think we should have a month every year where everyone doesn't shave anything. |
| jettles | posted 7-Sep-2009 2:00pm what?? women should shave what they want to shave....... they don't HAVE to shave anything!! |
| jettles | (reply to bill) posted 7-Sep-2009 2:01pm > I think we should have a month every year where everyone doesn't shave > anything. i agree! |
| Crayons | posted 7-Sep-2009 2:10pm We can say that we're accepting of everyone and whatever they shave no matter what, but I really wouldn't like to see a woman with unshaved legs. You know you wouldn't either. My friend shaves her arms, for no reason. But my friend's aunt.. kinda should. |
| Biggles | posted 7-Sep-2009 2:29pm My arms are fairly hairy, but it's quite pale coloured so I don't worry about it. I have to be "bare below the elbow" when I'm on placement and no patients have recoiled from my arms in horror (just from my cold hands). I think stubbly arms would be horrible. I had a friend at school who shaved her arms and they were much worse than legs for getting that plucked chicken look - they looked really awful, and I imagine they didn't feel nice either. Not that I ever told her that! |
| LJD | posted 7-Sep-2009 3:21pm No.... Underarms, yes |
| labjog | posted 7-Sep-2009 3:51pm No |
| dab | posted 7-Sep-2009 3:58pm Not on my account but if they want to... |
| Iseult | posted 7-Sep-2009 4:05pm I dislike the idea of shaving, period. There are much better alternatives. If a woman is uncomfortable with the amount of hair on her arms I think it's perfectly acceptable if she removes it in some way. |
| Liss | posted 7-Sep-2009 5:47pm No sir. A couple of my girl friends are a little hirsute on the arms and get embarrassed about it. You can't really see a lady has long leg hair until you see close up; even dark hair doesn't grow long. So I think it really is just the smoothness factor. |
| Dino | posted 7-Sep-2009 5:55pm Shock horror! But sometimes I shave mine. (armpits that is) I never wear deoderant. Hate the vile stuff. Someone once told me, if I shave there won't be a smell. It works. |
| they | posted 7-Sep-2009 6:09pm No. I'm sick of being made to look like a freak by women that spend ungodly amounts of time grooming themselves. As a single gal now, I only shave stuff if it starts to bother me. It's AWESOME. |
| icurok | posted 7-Sep-2009 7:19pm If you're an Olympic swimmer it might be a good idea. Other than that, it's vanity and personal preference. Leave me out of it. |
| Galomorro | posted 7-Sep-2009 8:59pm No, maybe their arm PITS. I couldn't care less if they want to shave or not. Up to them. |

| llamamama | (reply to bill) posted 8-Sep-2009 8:55am The whole nation forgoes shaving in November. Especially the arms! |
| bill | (reply to llamamama) posted 8-Sep-2009 9:03am The shaving lobby in Washington DC is not going to like this. |
| gambler | posted 8-Sep-2009 9:56am Yes, but only when the amount of hair is particularly manly ......... I really dont like hairy women, armpits, legs shave it all .......arms however are less of an issue TBH |
| llamamama | (reply to bill) posted 8-Sep-2009 11:11am It's going to get pretty hairy! |
