It's weird to sing along to it Here's mine, though it's way out of date (haven't had it installed since 2006): http://www.last.fm/user/billmarrs |

I personally prefer SUVs over cars. |
| meowry | (reply to bill) posted 4-Sep-2009 1:43pm I didn't realize that I listen to Amado & Mariam. I wouldn't have known, if you didn't have the link. |

| Gomezy3k | posted 6-Sep-2009 7:49pm Qntal is awesome. Their one song, "Ecce Gratum" is awesome, they remind me of Corvus Corax
I also listen to some Rammstein. Other than that really do not listen to the listed artists. |
| autumnlight | posted 21-Sep-2009 5:48pm Bach, Seal, Travis and Tori Amos, but they're not favourites of mine. Actually, that list has more artists that I really dislike (Morrissey, Kanye, Sean Paul, Coldplay, Akon) |
| docgbrown | posted 23-Sep-2009 3:05am I don't listen to any of these and never even heard of any of these "music artists" |
| bill | (reply to Iseult) posted 24-Sep-2009 9:35am Argh, I re-installed last.fm and now I'm obsessing about what my page there shows. I had to clear my data (from 3 years ago) because the stats all seemed a bit off. The trouble is that I listen to a lot of random stuff, like a song or two by a single artist. And, I probably really like that song, but it will never make the stats page. What does are the older stuff I have which I ripped a few CDs for years ago. There's more of them, so the come up more often on random. I actually considered just deleting some of my music because I want to look cooler on last.fm! |
| Iseult | (reply to bill) posted 24-Sep-2009 9:44am Welcome to my world - I've spent last four years obsessing about my music taste. Before I got the Scrobbler for my iPod I felt that a lot of music-listening is wasted every time I listened to my iPod, so to compensate, whenever I left the house, I would play music on the laptop just to cover up for me not being there.
But yes, this page makes you very... self-away of your music taste. I've gone as far as to completely delete some artists out of my library (like you were thinking) just so they would stop showing up on my charts. |
| bill | (reply to Iseult) posted 24-Sep-2009 10:28am I have these old TLC albums, an odd dip into pop music I made in the 90s... and, I like them, in that way I like all music I used to like or really any pop music, sort of... but, they come up a lot. I don't even notice them. That's another aspect of this that's a little freaky; I look at my last.fm page and I see what I've been listening to, and I don't even remember it; the familar songs just float by; I guess I'm working/distracted. |
| Iseult | (reply to bill) posted 24-Sep-2009 11:31am Do you keep your volume low? When I do that I don't notice anything that's playing. |
| bill | (reply to Iseult) posted 24-Sep-2009 12:19pm I do...and, sometimes, I just turn it off or leave the room for hours while it's playing. |
| Iseult | (reply to bill) posted 24-Sep-2009 2:03pm I'll do that same thing, too. Especially if I want to watch YouTube, isntead of turning my music off I'll just turn the volume down and then forget about it. |
| they | posted 13-Oct-2009 10:49pm Not really. |
