I favor ceramics, not necessarily porcelain (which is what I think of as "China").

I have both plastic and china. Paper seems wasteful to me and isn't styrofoam bad for the landfills?

China - I'd only use the others for a picnic or a party where I wouldn't have enough plates for everyone otherwise.

Ceramic, most of the time. I save paper plates for special occasions.

I prefer nice china plates but abhor dishes so give in to paper alot

The one's that come with take-out. You can throw them away and not have to wash dishes.

Styrofoam is gross, it twists up in the microwave, it makes squeaky sounds when you use a plastic fork on it. Anything but that.

I hate plastic. Plates, cutlery, cups etc.
