Generally, no, I don't like sweet potatoes. They are far too sweet to be a part of any savoury meal. My boyfriend is trying to convert me, so he gave me roasted wedges as a snack by themselves, which I did enjoy. Never had yams.

Yeah, I kind of get a craving now and then. They're supposed to be good for you. Sometimes I'll eat them all by themselves. I bake them, peel them and then add lots of butter and salt and pepper and then mash it all up.

I think they're different things everywhere. They're just similar enough that you can't always tell them apart.

My sister used to make rice balls with sweet potato stuffed inside.
