| Crayons | posted 27-Aug-2009 3:42pm Well, sorta. But I will NOT go in a pool where my feet don't touch the bottom, yikes! |

| Enheduanna | posted 27-Aug-2009 5:06pm Yes. |
| Iseult | posted 27-Aug-2009 6:08pm Yes, but I'm not the greatest swimmer out there. I don't do the whole head dipping thing because it's too hard on my ears and I still didn't get the front crawl right, although dozens of people have tried to teach me. |

| Crayons | (reply to Iseult) posted 27-Aug-2009 6:28pm I've never done it before. I don't think I can keep afloat that easily. |
| cerealkiller | posted 27-Aug-2009 6:31pm Yes/No. I know how but 5-10' is far enough for me |
| Galomorro | posted 27-Aug-2009 6:32pm Yes. |
| Biggles | posted 27-Aug-2009 7:53pm Yes, though I haven't been swimming for about 10 years. I was never a strong swimmer, but I imagine I could still manage a few lengths of breast or backstroke, albeit very slowly and with poor technique. |
| LJD | posted 28-Aug-2009 1:16am I never learned...Strange as it may seem, I have a big swimming pool in my backyard...I bought it for the children when they were younger. I wanted my children to have the joy of knowing how to swim. I was driven when they were young...they were going to learn to swim, and they did learn how to swim well. I did the same with my grandchildren. |
| Iseult | (reply to Crayons) posted 28-Aug-2009 10:49am It's really easy (I know it's more easily said than done). I remember my mum could never teach me how to swim no matter how hard she tried, because she always had a fear of water herself and she's an unreliable swimmer. Then when my dad got a hold of me he completely removed my fear of water. |
| jettles | posted 28-Aug-2009 5:38pm yes i can and i think everyone should learn to swim. i have seen too many near drownings and drownings come into the hospital. |

| Edenhallgirl | (reply to Anderz) posted 28-Aug-2009 8:20pm Okay, can you swim backward? |
| mandy | posted 29-Aug-2009 2:06pm Not a strong swimmer
a little fearful but I could swim to save my life if need be |
| gambler | posted 29-Aug-2009 2:43pm Yea, just enough to have fun |

| Dino | posted 6-Sep-2009 11:58am I went on a learn to swim holiday a few years back. Four years ago I think.
Hated it. Hate swimming. But I think I could now, get myself to the side if I fell in some water. |
