| gambler | posted 26-Aug-2009 11:46am OF THE ONES LISTED,...I would say Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, the list seems very "Rock" orientated? Like anything though these lists are subjective, (TIME magazine chose Bob Marley & The Wailers' "Exodus" as the greatest album of the 20th century....its great but the GREATEST album of a century?....) I just made VH1's 100 greatest love songs and they I think got it right in the sense that, although there are a few I do not like they covered pretty much all genres included on the list are songs such as:
POISON....Every rose has its thorn, CHRIS ISAAK ....Wicked Game, LL COOL J... I need Love, FRANK SINATRA...Fly me to the moon ...I think the Number 1 of WHITNEY HOUSTON... I will always love you ..is a good choice |
| icurok | posted 26-Aug-2009 12:24pm Bohemian Rhapsody, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Hey Jude, All Along the Watchtower. |
| labjog | posted 26-Aug-2009 2:12pm Bohemian Rhapsody, I love Queen, to bad Freddie Mercury died |
| Enheduanna | posted 26-Aug-2009 2:22pm These are all great songs. I'm picking Stairway to Heaven, Let it Be, and All Along the Watchtower. |

| Galomorro | posted 26-Aug-2009 6:37pm I don't like any of them. I haven't even heard some: Bohemian Rhapsody, Smells like Teen Spirit, Stairway to Heaven, and Hotel California. The rest I got sick of hearing all the time when they were popular. |

| cerealkiller | posted 26-Aug-2009 7:35pm Out of these - Zeppelin, Queen, Stones. Hendrix close behind. But, none of these would make my favorite top 3 list.
I saw the Eagles perform Hotel California for the very first time in concert years and years ago in Chicago. |

| autumnlight | posted 29-Aug-2009 5:19pm Bohemian Rhapsody (though I don't think it's the best Queen song), |
| Zang | posted 29-Aug-2009 9:15pm I wouldn't call any of them my favourites. That's not to say that I don't like them. They're all good tunes. Most of them have gotten far too much radio play over the years. Some of the artists I quite like, but would have selected different tunes as my favourites by those artists.
Bohemian Rhapsody is my favourite Queen song. I'm just not that big of a fan of Queen. I don't own any of their albums. I do have two Led Zeppelin albums and one each for the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. |
| cprasky | posted 30-Aug-2009 9:15am I only picked one, Like A Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan. It takes me back to my hitchhiking days. I also like Dylan's song Tangled Up in Blue from the LP Blood On the Tracks, for the same reason.
I should mention that All Along the Watchtower was also written by Bob Dylan, not Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix made it famous though. |
| Gomezy3k | posted 30-Aug-2009 4:07pm I like them but they are NOT my favorites. I do not like most songs by the mainstram groups or artists and these are all pretty much mainstream. |
| rustygirl50 | posted 30-Aug-2009 4:37pm Of course, Stairway to heaven. and queen is awesome. They all sound good to me. |

| Gomezy3k | (reply to cprasky) posted 30-Aug-2009 5:41pm LOL I was more into The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Steppenwolf, the Doors, back then. Now into Goth bands and some Heavy Metal like Lordi, Manowar and Hammerfall. |

Very good thanks. I bought an oxygen stone and starved both of them for three days. I am also feeding them pellets instead of flakes, which should decrease the amount of air bubbles they are sucking in. He hasn't swam upside down since we last spoke. |
