| Iseult | posted 26-Aug-2009 11:26am This is my prefered Thanksgiving plate - cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy, and peas and carrots. |
| Jody | posted 26-Aug-2009 11:38am Stuffing! |
| Enheduanna | posted 26-Aug-2009 2:26pm How could you omit stuffing? Must not be from the US. |
| bill | posted 26-Aug-2009 3:24pm also, stuffing and squash |
| Biggles | posted 26-Aug-2009 5:35pm I'm a vegetarian. We only ever had turkey at Christmas and I have to say that it was never my favourite meat so the sides were more important to me! I can't get away from thinking Christmas dinner, so I'll say Yorkshire puddings, gravy, roast potatoes, peas, carrots, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts and stuffing. |

| Biggles | (reply to Wicksy) posted 26-Aug-2009 5:46pm In the few years after I became vegetarian, my Mum made me something special, usually with cheese. The last few years (apart from the year I was working Christmas Day), I've just had the sides - enough for anyone! |
| Galomorro | posted 26-Aug-2009 6:44pm Mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce/jelly, corn on the cob, peas. But I really don't like turkey itself. |
| cerealkiller | posted 26-Aug-2009 7:39pm Cranberry sauce, potatoes and gravy, dressing, homemade noodles with fried bread crumbs, green bean casserole, corn, and of course black olives. And sweet potatoes for other people, not me (yuck). |
| Crayons | posted 26-Aug-2009 8:38pm I don't really love turkey. I'll eat it, but I'll just chose a side that I actually enjoy, so I'll eat something. |
| LJD | posted 26-Aug-2009 8:54pm It's nearing that time....we have our family favorites, and the traditional favorites... |
| Anderz | posted 28-Aug-2009 7:27pm Roast potatoes and gravy! |
| LindaH | posted 28-Aug-2009 8:41pm Roast turkey goes well on my insides. |
| dab | posted 29-Aug-2009 7:45am Also boiled onions, stuffing, squash, gravy, pumpkin pie, mince pie, and many fruit pies. |
| mandy | posted 29-Aug-2009 2:43pm I'm hungry now |
| autumnlight | posted 29-Aug-2009 5:26pm Are dinner rolls just bread rolls? |
| grahammm | posted 30-Aug-2009 5:50am Also Roast Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts, Stuffing, Bread Sauce and Yorkshire pudding |
| Dino | posted 6-Sep-2009 12:23pm I'll pick green beans. I'm fond of green beans at the moment.
But really, nothing works without gravy. Its gravy what makes a meal great. |
