| cerealkiller | posted 25-Aug-2009 9:40pm Only males have Adam's apples. You can't get rid of that even if you are a transvestite or have a sex change operation. |
| cerealkiller | (reply to gambler) posted 25-Aug-2009 9:40pm > isn't it looking for the Adams Apple?
Yes, that's the answer I was looking for. |
| llamamama | posted 25-Aug-2009 10:36pm It's not really that easy. Gender is determined by more than what's in your pants. For example, people with XXY chormosomes? Or that track star that is supposedly a woman but they aren't sure. It's really a very complicated thing..and females can have things that look like adam's apples. |
| jettles | posted 25-Aug-2009 10:46pm i don't think there is any way to tell that a female isn't a female unless you ask. i don't necessarily think the sexual organs/equipment is the determining factor........... some may disagree but i think it is a state of mind. so really asking is the easiest and only way to find out |
| LJD | posted 26-Aug-2009 12:17am I can usually tell by voice, demeanor.
You can't tell by hands because I once knew a really pretty girl, that had very manly looking hands. I now know a woman that has hands that aren't pretty, very manly. |

| Iseult | posted 26-Aug-2009 11:28am I use the following features to look for clues: shoulders, face (jaw line especially and eyes), neck, and hands. |
| Anderz | posted 28-Aug-2009 7:29pm Forearm size, shape of the wasit and hips. Men are usually straight and woman curve. Also, the jawline is a dead giveaway! Men's are more square are bigger. |

| autumnlight | posted 29-Aug-2009 5:30pm Adam's apple? |
| Zang | posted 29-Aug-2009 9:27pm Apparently by being wrong.
The first part of your question establishes that the subject is in fact a female. Any attempt to tell otherwise would be incorrect. Is it possible that you intended to ask: "What's the easiest way to tell a person isn't really a female?" |
| grahammm | posted 30-Aug-2009 5:58am I do not know. At one time I would have suggesting watching to see whether (s)he went into the Ladies or the Gents, but that is no longer a very reliable indicator as I believe it is very common for pre-op M2F transsexuals (and, to a lesser extent, transvestites) to the use the Ladies. |
| cprasky | posted 30-Aug-2009 7:31pm The best way I think is the relationship between the elbows and the hips. Most women have elbows on a level with their hips, whereas most males have elbows falling above the hips. |
| cprasky | (reply to gambler) posted 30-Aug-2009 7:32pm > isn't it looking for the Adams Apple?
This doesn't always work. Some males have barely detectable Adams apples. |

Hands |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 7-Sep-2009 7:54am Theres the adam's apple and the voice, if those haven't been changed already. Big hands are another. |

| guybgdon381 | posted 9-Oct-2009 10:57am I have seen some Beautiful Tranies. I think they are born with Woman Genes. They say a man has a big adams apple, but some of the Tranies do not. I guess if the tranny was beautiful enough, it would not matter. Don |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to guybgdon381) posted 9-Oct-2009 5:28pm They can be surgically whittled down if you can afford it. It's not hard to spend $100k on cosmetic surgery relevant to TGs.
A womans attitude, and thus manner of speech, movement, and expression, masks a lot of otherwise obviously male genes. Our primary attention is on communication. Confidence and immersion are key factors, and reticent fearful TGs don't pass as well. |

| Kristal_Rose | (reply to romeoandjuliet) posted 23-Oct-2009 6:57am How do you figure that? About 75% of all the people I've asked think that if you look female you should be using the women's restroom, which is my policy. It causes a lot less hassle with people's reactions. |
