Only males have Adam's apples. You can't get rid of that even if you are a transvestite or have a sex change operation.

It's not really that easy. Gender is determined by more than what's in your pants. For example, people with XXY chormosomes? Or that track star that is supposedly a woman but they aren't sure. It's really a very complicated thing..and females can have things that look like adam's apples.

i don't think there is any way to tell that a female isn't a female unless you ask. i don't necessarily think the sexual organs/equipment is the determining factor........... some may disagree but i think it is a state of mind. so really asking is the easiest and only way to find out

I can usually tell by voice, demeanor.

You can't tell by hands because I once knew a really pretty girl, that had very manly looking hands. I now know a woman that has hands that aren't pretty, very manly.

I use the following features to look for clues: shoulders, face (jaw line especially and eyes), neck, and hands.

Forearm size, shape of the wasit and hips. Men are usually straight and woman curve. Also, the jawline is a dead giveaway! Men's are more square are bigger.

I do not know. At one time I would have suggesting watching to see whether (s)he went into the Ladies or the Gents, but that is no longer a very reliable indicator as I believe it is very common for pre-op M2F transsexuals (and, to a lesser extent, transvestites) to the use the Ladies.

The best way I think is the relationship between the elbows and the hips. Most women have elbows on a level with their hips, whereas most males have elbows falling above the hips.

This doesn't always work. Some males have barely detectable Adams apples.

They can be surgically whittled down if you can afford it. It's not hard to spend $100k on cosmetic surgery relevant to TGs.

A womans attitude, and thus manner of speech, movement, and expression, masks a lot of otherwise obviously male genes. Our primary attention is on communication. Confidence and immersion are key factors, and reticent fearful TGs don't pass as well.

How do you figure that? About 75% of all the people I've asked think that if you look female you should be using the women's restroom, which is my policy. It causes a lot less hassle with people's reactions.
