| Wicksy | posted 25-Aug-2009 5:47pm Never seen this happen. People may hopelessly flaw it but not needs work. |
| bill | posted 25-Aug-2009 6:03pm It seems like a legit reason... topic overload is certainly possible. |
| Galomorro | posted 25-Aug-2009 6:25pm I dunno whether they're tired of the topic or not when they choose to do that. |
| cerealkiller | (reply to bill) posted 25-Aug-2009 9:38pm > It seems like a legit reason... topic overload
> is certainly possible. No, I disagree. "Needs Work" means the survey requires fixing for some reason - grammar, spelling, category, whatever else that is normally noted about surveys. I say it is wrong just because you're tired of a series of topics to say it needs work. I would say voting "HF" is a more appropriate way to signal a survey creator that enough is enough. Or the most polite way would be just to "nitpick" it or even better yet just ignore voting alltogether. |
| jettles | posted 25-Aug-2009 10:50pm nope, there really isn't any other option unless "nitpick" is chosen or "hopelessly flawed". at some point, it is truly overkill to ask the same question over and over with one word changed........ just my opinion. |
| jettles | posted 25-Aug-2009 10:55pm ignoring voting means you don't care about it. if it is something that you don't think should get through or should be changed then you vote. "needs work" can mean you think it should be changed in some way.................. perfect for when you think enough is enough and the survey should be changed. hopelessly flawed to me is when something can't be fixed or should not be fixed and should never get through at all. |
| Crayons | (reply to cerealkiller) posted 25-Aug-2009 11:02pm Don't take it personally- I'm sure you have millions of survey ideas to awe and disgust us. |
