When you go out to eat at a restaurant, do you like to go to the salad bar if the restaurant has one?

Yeah I especially like the part where people lick their fingers and then handle the utensils. I'm not a germophobe or anything, but I also don't like being sick.

for whatever reason I haven't ben to a restaurant with a salad bar in ages...except for Pizza Hut. I can't imagine eating salad at Pizza Hut.

Yes, I like the salad bar. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at a restaurant that has one.

I never get the salad bar. I don't eat a ton anyway..and it really bothers me when parents let their kids (who are shorter than the sneeze guard) go up there by themselves.

Not usually unless it is strictly a salad bar place like Fresh Choice. I don't like filling up on rabbit food then be too full to eat the real meal.

I know, they use their grubby little hands to grab stuff. I saw a kid pick up three rolls with her fingers before she decided which one she wanted. You know kids that age pick their noses.

Oh yeah, for sure. I don't know what I was watching yesterday..the news or some serious documentary thing where they were talking about this one kid..and he was surrounded by his classmates..And one of the kids was totally picking his nose..right there. *shudder ew*

That will be something for that kid to watch when he grows up

There are some restaurants I won't do it. If the stuff looks like its been there a while, and it still looks 'fresh' there is a good chance it's laden with chemicals to retain that "fresh" feeling. That makes me ill. Nitrates or something like that. There are some salad bars that are very good and I will go just for that.
