| FordGuy | posted 20-Aug-2009 8:57am Yeah I especially like the part where people lick their fingers and then handle the utensils. I'm not a germophobe or anything, but I also don't like being sick. |
| Matty | posted 20-Aug-2009 9:04am for whatever reason I haven't ben to a restaurant with a salad bar in ages...except for Pizza Hut. I can't imagine eating salad at Pizza Hut. |
| Iseult | posted 20-Aug-2009 9:10am Yes, I like the salad bar. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at a restaurant that has one. |
| Zang | posted 20-Aug-2009 10:04am I haven't seen a salad bar in many years. |
| Enheduanna | posted 20-Aug-2009 12:27pm Yes, although I rarely eat at a restaurant with a salad bar. |
| llamamama | posted 20-Aug-2009 12:39pm I never get the salad bar. I don't eat a ton anyway..and it really bothers me when parents let their kids (who are shorter than the sneeze guard) go up there by themselves. |
| cerealkiller | posted 20-Aug-2009 2:48pm Not usually unless it is strictly a salad bar place like Fresh Choice. I don't like filling up on rabbit food then be too full to eat the real meal. |
| Galomorro | posted 20-Aug-2009 2:50pm I have never been to a salad bar when I used to go to restaurants. They always brought the salad to the table. |
| autumnlight | posted 20-Aug-2009 6:00pm Depends. I'm not against salad. |

I saw a kid pick up three rolls with her fingers before she decided which one she wanted. You know kids that age pick their noses. |
| llamamama | (reply to labjog) posted 20-Aug-2009 9:40pm Oh yeah, for sure. I don't know what I was watching yesterday..the news or some serious documentary thing where they were talking about this one kid..and he was surrounded by his classmates..And one of the kids was totally picking his nose..right there. *shudder ew* |

| llamamama | (reply to labjog) posted 20-Aug-2009 9:52pm Yeah, he'll regret that decision haha |
| cloudhugger | posted 21-Aug-2009 10:40am sometimes. If I never tried it before, I cruise by and check it out.
There are some restaurants I won't do it. If the stuff looks like its been there a while, and it still looks 'fresh' there is a good chance it's laden with chemicals to retain that "fresh" feeling. That makes me ill. Nitrates or something like that. There are some salad bars that are very good and I will go just for that. |
| Biggles | posted 26-Aug-2009 3:06pm I have never been to a restaurant with a salad bar. This is something I associate with fast-food places like Pizza Hut. |
| mandy | posted 29-Aug-2009 4:03pm mmmmmmmmmmmm |
| Dino | posted 6-Sep-2009 3:10pm I guess. I'm more a fan of restaurants where they bring stuff to you. |
