| Galomorro | posted 4-Aug-2009 1:29pm There are several plant identification and foraging DVDs I recently found that I'll be ordering as soon as possible. I love this sort of thing. I've got some bookmarked on my StumbleUpon page for future reference. |

| Enheduanna | posted 4-Aug-2009 2:16pm Nope. I don't buy DVDs very often. |
| Melf | posted 4-Aug-2009 2:39pm Yes. Beckett on Film. |
| Biggles | posted 5-Aug-2009 7:37am Not specific ones, but I would like to pick up some films that would be more appealing to my friends than my current smattering of science-fiction or classics. Whenever we get together for a film night, chick-flick seems to be the order of the day - these are intelligent women who are happy to see all kinds of films at the cinema and yet seem to possess mostly fluff on DVD! (Actually, we did watch The Usual Suspects once, and that was okay). That said, I probably won't be buying any in the near future - I haven't bought any in about 4 or 5 years as it is! (Except for the three I bought a few days ago, but they are for my little brother's birthday.) |
| bill | posted 5-Aug-2009 8:34am I don't like owning media... we've been mostly downloading movies (legally) recently. Also, we watch stuff off cable too.
We did buy Dark Knight Bluray about a year ago. We watched it and it was good. Now it sits on our shelf. I should sell it. |

| Crayons | posted 6-Aug-2009 4:55pm Well when MJ died, my mom wanted me to get some Wizard of Oz movie he was in. I didn't search eBay for it yet. But I doubt I'd be able to get it anyway. Last night we were discussing how we're different from the stuffy, nosy neighbors, and she compared us to the Munsters family. So now she wants me to get some of that.
Since I've been on eBay, I've been getting my parents things for Christmas and their birthdays and Mother's and Father's day. I like to get DVDs for them. My mom is easy: I Love Lucy, Little Lulu, something from the old days. My dad? Sci Fi, or maybe something about Pilots. |
| jettles | posted 6-Aug-2009 9:07pm yes but i can't list them here and now |
| autumnlight | posted 8-Aug-2009 4:57pm Nothing - Harry Potter, when that comes out, but I don't think that qualifies as near future. |
| autumnlight | posted 8-Aug-2009 4:58pm *changes vote* - I forgot I'm watching Stargate SG-1 with my boyfriend at the moment from start to finish. We'll be finishing season 3 soon, so I'll need to buy season 4. |
| Dino | posted 9-Sep-2009 4:32pm Er...no not really.
I'm not a big fan of buying DVDs. Maybe the next season of Family Guy. I have all to Season Seven. But havn't watched up to that yet. |

However, given that box sets are about the same price on Ebay as renting them for a week from Blockbuster, the next thing I'll probably buy is series 3 of The Sopranos.
