Can you spit sunflower seed shells?

No. Sounds gross to me.

I can't, but I can't say I've tried. I don't think it sounds enjoyable, to me, to eat a food that takes so much work to eat. Sometimes when I am eating, I just get bored, even if I'm not full.

When you are old enough you would like the bars where they give you a bowl of peanuts in the shell. You just push the shells on the floor. Its kind of a cool place, when you walk in your shoes crunch on the shells.

I can, but I can only do one seed at a time. I can't put a handful in my mouth and just spit seeds like that; it's too bothersome.

I watch little birds do this all the time. I'm not sure if I can do it or not, probably not.

I don't know. I haven't tried in a long time, and I don't remember if I was able to do it the last time I tried.

I'm not that fond of sunflower seeds that I make a point of eating unshelled ones. I have. Probably 30+ years ago. I'm sure I could do this if I wanted to. It's kind of gross though. Then you wind up with saliva covered sunflower seed shells all over the place. That's pretty disgusting.
