Are you a purest or a pragmatist?

I think I'm more of a pragmatist than a purist, generally speaking, but it depends on what the issue is.

Purest?

It really depends on the circumstances. I'm probably both, about different things.

I like to think I've become a pragmatist in my old age.

I roll each and every time I converse with a purist or any idealist of any kind. They don't know what they're talking about.

I am not sure if I do well at being a purist but it most closely defines me.

Besides My Fair Lady and Oliver, weren't you into A Clockwork Orange? If so and still, there's a cable show called Curb you should check out (I only just saw episode 17). Really harsh. Continual take scenes in which you're pretty much in the eyes of that raped and beaten couple having head games played on you, trying to figure out if there's a way out.
