| LJD | posted 9-Jul-2009 5:52pm I believe anyone could do it, with practice. |
| LindaH | posted 9-Jul-2009 6:14pm I don't think so. I've tried, but I'm not sure if it looks right from the view of people watching. |

| gambler | posted 9-Jul-2009 7:57pm Used to be able to, when I was about 16+ .........mechanically its easy to do, but making it look "fluid" is the hardest part, I started by practicing in socks on a smooth floor....... Leather sole shoes are best
Ironically I saw it performed years before MJ made it popular by a guy named "Jeffrey Daniels" choreographer of the Pop Trio Shalamar I saw them in concert at the Wembley Arena and he moonwalked (then it was called the back slide) across the whole stage, he also performed it on Top Of The Pops (Uk version of Americas Top 10) He taught it to MJ after MJ saw him performing it on Soul Train. |

| rustygirl50 | posted 12-Jul-2009 11:51am No, I have better things to do with my feet, like just walking and getting where I want to go. |
| cloudhugger | posted 19-Jul-2009 7:44am Yes, but not near as eloquently as the King of Pop himself. |
| Biggles | posted 22-Jul-2009 7:57pm I've never tried - I imagine I could manage to do it with some level of success (by which I mean not falling over and not looking like I was just walking backwards normally) after a bit of practice. |
| Melf | posted 27-Jul-2009 1:37pm I don't do an entirely awful attempt. |
