All deaths are equally tragic. Not just these 5, but the millions around the world that died each year. I think roughly 2 people die each second, or something like that.

Ed was at least a war veteran. I could give two craps about the other 4.

They were all tragic - how can one be more tragic than the other?

all tragic in different ways but i am picking farrah due to the length of her illness and long treatment and her suffering through it. everyone else was fairly sudden.

Ed McMahon. Taht was a tragic end to a life. The poor soul lost everything, house...money...and than his dignity when he sold out doing those commercials for the company that buys your gold through the mail. One would think he'd had been living out his golden years comfortably but he was...not.

I picked Carradine because of the lack of dignity what with how it happened.

I think Billy Mays. His was the most unexpected, poor guy was just getting famous, just got his own show, pitchmen. Finally living his dream, bringing in the big money and bam... he's gone.

Carradine was unexpected too, but the old perv brought that on himself, he literaly fudgeed up!!

I didny know Ed had lost everything, poor guy. He was kind of living his golden years...buying gold.

Michael is the one that I felt the most, we grew up together. I remember having Jackson Five posters in my locker in middle school. Whenever I made money babysitting I would either buy a teen magazine or an album. I had all of there albums. I really am grieving for him.

I really don't think it matters in the whole scheme of things. I read about David Carradine and I really question the "suicide" call. Pretty weird circumstances!

It was just ruled a non-suicide.

I forgot all about that. I had determined to forget it when I heard it anyway. That was a pretty undignified way to go.

I think they were all equally tragic. Am I right in thinking Ed McMahon died of old age? If so that means his death was perhaps a little less surprising - but still tragic.

 * check * None.

Death is inevitable. It's not like these folks were immortal and no one thought they'd ever die. Death is death. There's nothing tragic about any of these people's respective deaths.
