Galomorro	posted 23-Jun-2009 10:51am I don't listen to country music -- except for traditional bluegrass artists (like Flatt & Scruggs), and Cajun (this genre does have some country influences), and the blue yodeler from the late '20s and early '30s Jimmie Rodgers (but I think of him as more of a folk artist). I don't care for those country balladeers -- too bland for my taste. But I LOVE Brazilian country music. This genre has been influenced by American country music a lot -- I go for the duplas (duets) like Tonico & Tinoco, and Rionegro & Solimões.

cprasky	posted 6-Jul-2009 9:26am I was never a fan of country music in general, although there are a couple of country songs I do like. Rose Garden and the Ballad of Billy Joe to name a couple. Never heard of Kenny Dale though.
