Where would you go for your dream date and what would you do?

I don't go for this whole 'dream date' idea.

Dinner and a movie with my spouse...

Go hiking and maybe foraging for wild plants, like blackberries in the summer. Go to an ethnic music concert (Spanish/Mexican or Portuguese folkdance or fado) with another enthusiast. Go on a group history walk with others (San Francisco City Guides gives free walks all year).

I'm going to say that I wouldn't want this to be the first date. I'm horrible with first impressions. So any activity with a lovely person I already know and love would be fine. Preferably something really quiet and good for sharing deep thoughts. Like on the movies.

He would pay. I'd have an army of beauty technicians work on me beforehand. We'd go somewhere the food was cheap and homely. Drinks in a quiet bar, progressing to a louder bar, then a nightclub. We'd go back to his place which would be spectacular, have amazing sex and wake up to tea and muffins.

Any place would be a dream date place if you're with someone you care about, and respect. A dinner, and a movie/theatre. It doesn't have to be fancy, or expensive.

A picnic on the hills of Ireland, then rolling down them a few times.

The Halloween Dracula Castle Tour in Transylvannia would be awesome to go to on a date... Or perhaps the Haunted Vegas Tour, or any of the Haunted Tours of any city....

Dates to me are a nightmare. I would scream.
