| Galomorro | posted 25-May-2009 7:26pm Used to but got rid of it cuz I prefer CDs. My neighbor, however, just bought a new turntable and a new tape deck to play the old stuff he still has. |
| RainingFeathers | posted 25-May-2009 7:46pm Yes, I do. And I actually use it.
Although, "still" isn't the right word, as I only bought my first one about 3 years ago. I'm a little young to "still" have one. (I'm 23) |
| labjog | posted 25-May-2009 7:50pm No, but I still have records. |

But. In the back of my mom's house, just off of the pool table room that used to be a back porch and just past the laundry, there is a closet. It is a very special room, like a tiny library of my childhood games and books. For over 30 years, it hasn't changed... except for the addition of new games and the loss of the litter box tucked under the shelves when Bootsie died a few years back. It's a walk in closet with deeeep shelves to the ceiling on two walls. The shelves are just packed with childhood relics. Every game that you can imagine, and also ones that you can't... like Water Works and Mindbender and The Farming Game. We have old school text books of every subject that my parents bought from the school. We used to play "school" with them. Sometimes Mary goes back there and shuts herself in... playing alone or with her best friend... for HOURS. There is a square metal box in that closet that is filled with the little story book/record sets. I cherish that box of records. |
| LindaH | posted 25-May-2009 10:57pm I have one again. I bought one of those retro looking new ones. |

| FordGuy | posted 26-May-2009 8:13pm Isn't a record player one of those things that you can use to listen to stuff backwards? Man, them things are bad ass. |
| Jody | posted 27-May-2009 10:43am I have 2, but I seldom use them. I can use them to play my 33 RPM records and 45 RPM singles. I have some 78 RPM records, but no turntable or cartridge to play them with. |
