Just the other day, I was recalling a time in my childhood when a friend and I discovered these big numbers (specifically "google" and "googleplex"). We must have seen some PBS show about math together. Anyway, we were young boys. So, we kept trying to outdo each other.. "Mine is a google!" ... "Oh yeah, well mine is a googleplex!" ... "That's nothing, mine is a google times a googleplex" ...and, so on.

Even when I was 5, there were clear signs of serious geekiness.

Up in my tab, this survey is labelled 'What would you name a bra'.

*snicker* ... well?

So the chief of staff walks into Obama's office and says, "Sir, last night in Iraq two Brazillian officers were killed." Obama thinks about it for a minute, furrows his brow in concern and replies, "Just how many is a brazillian?"

A larger number is the googolplex, which is one followed by a googol zeroes.
