see also: googolplex Just the other day, I was recalling a time in my childhood when a friend and I discovered these big numbers (specifically "google" and "googleplex"). We must have seen some PBS show about math together. Anyway, we were young boys. So, we kept trying to outdo each other.. "Mine is a google!" ... "Oh yeah, well mine is a googleplex!" ... "That's nothing, mine is a google times a googleplex" ...and, so on. Even when I was 5, there were clear signs of serious geekiness. |

| FordGuy | posted 22-May-2009 8:24am So the chief of staff walks into Obama's office and says, "Sir, last night in Iraq two Brazillian officers were killed." Obama thinks about it for a minute, furrows his brow in concern and replies, "Just how many is a brazillian?" |
| TeddyMiller | posted 22-May-2009 11:15am A larger number is the googolplex, which is one followed by a googol zeroes.

p.s. infinity to the power of infinity! |
| they | (reply to bill) posted 23-May-2009 8:31am All of those are equal to infinity +1.
So........ infinity +2! |

| Gomezy3k | posted 24-May-2009 10:49am A googolplex is the number 10googol, which can also be written as the number 1 followed by a googol of zeros (i.e. 10100 zeros). So there is a number higher than a googol... |
