| labjog | posted 4-May-2009 8:18pm Yes I do,four gardens. A perennial flower garden, a herb garden and a tomato and pepper garden and a water garden. I love to work outdoors plus, it's very good exercise. |
| Galomorro | posted 4-May-2009 9:59pm You probably couldn't call what I have a "garden" -- it's four windows, two outer windowsills, and a few plants hanging over the fire escape. I'd like nothing more than to have an actual yard, or at least a sunny deck, so I could grow a lot more stuff. I can't do much with what I have but I do what I can. |
| LJD | posted 5-May-2009 3:19am Yes |
| jettles | posted 5-May-2009 5:15am yes but it is in our front yard because that is where the sun is............ we have a vegetable garden every year. this year we have squash, many different types of tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and many different herbs. |
| Matty | posted 5-May-2009 7:56am no, we nmostly have grass |
| Cain | posted 5-May-2009 8:27am Nope. But I REALLY REALLY want one. I'd love to be spending time outside with the child and the dog, without having to go up the local park. |
| cloudhugger | posted 5-May-2009 10:02am Yes, mostly, somewhat. I had a small tomato one with peppers last year, only mostly because I got some free plants that Lowes was going to throw away and someone that worked there came home with a truckload. I want to do bigger, so last fall I planted lasagna mulch. Layers of newspapers and leaves from the trees, gras cuttings etc. The space is large. The mulch does not appear to me that it has worked so I will end up roto tilling it anyway. But we have had so much rain in the last 3 months, I don't know if it will ever unsog enough to tear into it. Meanwhile, I have been pumping pond water to it to further fertilize it with fish poop and mud, an occasional tadpole and green water. Too much water this month. |
| FordGuy | posted 5-May-2009 11:01am Jodi runs the garden. But it's awesome. |
| cerealkiller | posted 5-May-2009 3:06pm If you mean edible stuff - no way. Too much work, they never grow and they attract bugs and bees. |
| Biggles | posted 5-May-2009 5:46pm There's a sort of yard area that's common to all the houses in the section (of four terraces) because most people access their houses through the back. Then there are four tiny separate gardens set back from there. We had a problem with our back door jamming, so I've not been into the garden since about October - I just go to the yard area to get our bin when the rubbish is being collected. Hopefully come the summer (which starts for me on Thursday at about 11am - woohoo!!! And last until the end of May - less woohoo...), I can spend some time in the actual garden - the grass could use a cut! |
| LindaH | posted 6-May-2009 12:04am Yes. This year I put a cute little gravel trail in it and edging. |
| Enheduanna | posted 6-May-2009 7:37pm Yes. |

| rustygirl50 | posted 10-May-2009 5:46pm I've had tpmatoe plants for years. but if I grew what I really wanted. I'd be arrested. |
| cprasky | posted 14-May-2009 6:59am Yes, we have a garden, but it's my mudderinlaw that takes care of it. Sharon won't let me eat the lilies. |
