| FauxLo | posted 23-Apr-2009 7:02pm No, Jessica. I cannot cross a busy intersection in just two seconds without being in my car to do it. |

| cloudhugger | posted 23-Apr-2009 8:02pm No, and are you crazy. I've worked damn hard on my mosey. |
| Biggles | posted 23-Apr-2009 8:15pm I'm basing this on pictures/footage I have seen of large intersections in the US. My answer is no, I don't think that I could cross in 2 seconds. What happens if I don't? |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 24-Apr-2009 1:43am In just 10 minutes i can make it across and go splat |

If you don't you go crunch and splat , I got this idea!! for this survey because we have one traffic light and cars trucks and buses yes school buses and charter buses logging trucks as well coming from 4 different directions and you have 2 seconds to get across or splat Ka-Boom These elderly people are really good crossing the highway they must have experience lots of experience because they move so slow with their oxygen bottles in tow yet somehow they make it all the way across to the other side? |
| verouge | posted 24-Apr-2009 6:48am I will try it and if you found me online in the next three hours then I made it! |
| icurok | posted 24-Apr-2009 9:48am Given that busy intersections in New York can be 50ft across, then not even Usain Bolt could (from a standing start) get from one side to the other if he had to factor in oncoming vehicles.
What I suspect you mean by "just 2 seconds" is, in fact, "an undetermined but relatively small amount of time". Could I cross a busy road in "an undetermined but relatively small amount of time"? Probably |
| icurok | posted 24-Apr-2009 9:48am It's just occured to me that Jessica is Survey Central's answer to Karl Pilkington. |
| Amanda | posted 24-Apr-2009 11:45am No. I'm certainly not going to attempt it to prove myself correct, though. |
| LindaH | posted 24-Apr-2009 1:23pm No. I wish. Imagine all the pranks I could pull if I could move that fast. |

| LindaH | posted 24-Apr-2009 7:41pm I bet we could all try to cross it; in two seconds, flat. |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 24-Apr-2009 9:34pm I doubt it--unless I had springs under my shoes where I can leap across. |
| Enheduanna | posted 25-Apr-2009 9:46am No. |
