| Galomorro | posted 14-Apr-2009 11:45am No way. I'm not easily influenced by ads. |
| Enheduanna | posted 14-Apr-2009 11:49am Not really. Every so often something will get me, but it's not all that common. |
| bill | posted 14-Apr-2009 1:36pm I suppose most people don't... but, we're wrong. |
| Crayons | posted 14-Apr-2009 1:41pm Initially, but I am good at giving an extra thought. |
| cloudhugger | posted 14-Apr-2009 1:59pm No, I get intrigued at new products, and I may research them, but I don't buy. I amnot a vicim |
| cerealkiller | posted 14-Apr-2009 3:20pm No. My wife is prone to wanting stupid things we don't need from infomercials. I have to go online, look for reviews on the things and prove to her they're crap. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 14-Apr-2009 5:40pm Yes kinda and i am a victim to this |
| jettles | posted 14-Apr-2009 6:28pm not at all |
| LindaH | posted 14-Apr-2009 7:51pm No. I don't watch infomercials, I'm not into fads, and I know exactly what I need, and my 'wants' are generated internally. |
| Melf | posted 15-Apr-2009 9:53am No. I'm really starting to think that advertising is the devil. |
| wigarach | posted 16-Apr-2009 8:47am It bad and good, the media has learned me that celebrities are fake and that i have real beauty. Its ruining women ! |
| Cain | posted 16-Apr-2009 1:22pm See chcocolate. Buy chocolate.
But that's about it. |
| they | posted 17-Apr-2009 8:26am Trust no one.
I listen to the message of the advertisement and assume it is a gross exaggeration. |
| meowry | posted 18-Apr-2009 11:41am No. Actually, I'm kind of stingy! I'm even reluctant to get new clothes that fit me (my old ones are too big). |
| FengMuli | posted 26-Apr-2009 5:27am I am a marketing-allergic! So I usually turn off the TV as soon as ads start and never accept any discount coupon wanting me to buy useless, over-expensive crap. |
| cprasky | posted 2-May-2009 5:50pm I am not a marketing victim. I am a victim of a teenage son. He always wants the latest this, the latest that. If he gets it, and he rarely does, a month later he is unhappy with it and wants the next new thing coming up because the last one sucked so bad.
Fortunately, he now has a job of his own, so he can start buying the crap for himself. |
| LindaH | (reply to cprasky) posted 11-May-2009 6:01pm When we were broke, the kids got used to hearing 'no'. Now that we have money, it's easy to say no, even though we can afford stuff. |
