It depends. Sometimes neither. If I'm not interested in some way, I forget both immediately.

I don't remember faces all that well but I don't remember names at all.

Names, even though I'm not really good at it. I have prosopagnosia, meaning I have trouble remembering faces much more than most people do. This is an embarrassing condition to have that most people have difficulty understanding.

Neither, my memory is horrid. Trying to work on this, but I'm not getting very far.

I'm always spotting actors who were in other things; usually I don't know their names.

Faces, easily.

I am absolutely dreadful at names. Worse than anyone I think!

Faces. My memory is getting bad with names. I have to think at times what all my grandkid's first names are.

Faces. But that does not do much good if you can't remember the name.

Faces, definitely. I suck at remembering names, but I can usually wing it, if I have to....

I'm really embarrassingly bad at faces.

I've become friendly with my neighbor Michelle across the street. I take her son to school every morning. I've only seen her husband a few times up close -- usually he's waving from across the street, which isn't very far but I have bad eyes.

I'm almost positive I've run into him in stores... and he's been uncomfortable because he starts to say hi and realizes there is no recognition. I really need to get a better look at him next time I see him up close.

Faces. I have repeated encounters with a lot of familiar faces and sometimes I still have to ask what their names are. * wry smile *
