What is your total credit limit when you combine all your credit cards?

a) What you owe is irrelevant for the purposes of this survey.
b) American Express, Debit & Store cards are NOT to be included

Prompted by a conversation with my frugal/money-wise father on the fact that credit card companies had habitually kept raising his credit limit on his Visa card even though he did not request an increase, rarely used it and always paid off the usually small balance every month.

I only have one credit card. The limit is $2800. (I've never had more than $800 on it at once, and it's usually more like $400 a month.)

I don't really know. I think I just use debit cards and I'm not sure what the limits are on them (if there are limits).

$10,001- $25,000, though to be fair $10,000 of this is a company credit card......... My Father, who is good money-wise only used to get these credit cards, because of free gifts you get when you sign up! , he had about 7 or 8 at one time, his total credit limit was like $250,000????? and we/he was not wealthy at all, working class....... his balance was always paid off and most times his balance never exceeded $100, often times he would get sent letters asking if everything was alright and why he was not using his card?

When he retired, he neatly cut up about 6 of them including any that had yearly fees (Amex) and sent them all back, he now has like 2 only

More than I have ever made in a year. (They ask for household income, not my income.)

I don't have any credit cards - my debit card is fine for now. My bank has offered me one a few times despite me being a student with no source of income other than my loans. I think that's pretty silly of them.

I got rid of all of my credit cards because I've learned the art of living beneath my means. Ten years ago, I had over $80,000 in credit at my disposal.

Years ago, I went into a store, wrote a check for a gift, they said I needed two I.D.'s I had to get another I.D., a credit card. I was never one to use a credit card much. They're a trap.

Credit is a tax on us. They have us in a trap, a well planned trap.

My former fiancee told me during a fall in Germany's economy....eggs use to cost $1.00 a piece. You'll see our taxes rising, making people succumb to socialism/communism as a way out, depend on the government for everything...take no responsibility. One European country saw it happen and once it is entrenched, it's difficult to retract, even though freedom loving people want to retract. People will be as robots, slaves to taxes, and a central government...who themselves will live high on the hog.

Have you thought about pet insurance?

My niece, her daughter, husband, sister-in-law, work and serve foods at the food banks and soup kitchens.

This reminds me of the pictures I've seen in pictures in communist countries.

Yes my male cats they were taken to the Vet today and got fixed but one of my male cats he acts like he is still in heat he walks around and meows at the female cat and he still tries to climb on her
And they have vouchers for me at the Vet for all my cats and the kittens are beginning to come out and they watch me closely and gee are they so adorable you would love them Jean? My female cats will have to wait to get fixed because they are pregnant all over again and hopefully this will be the last herd of kittens , I have a total of 7 cats and 4 kittens with more kittens on the way, the animal shelter gave me 3 bags of cat food plus the food bank gave me another bag of cat food you talk about being a mother 24/7

I am not lucky. But every time we had credit cards we got to the limit, stopped paying payments and blew them off. Not a good pattern.

Only reason I miss a credit card is that I can't fly anywhere and rent a car. Makes it uncomfortable when I have to travel for work. Last time I had a credit card I flew to Toronto and got stuck without a vehicle because there wasn't enough credit left to run a deposit through.

We have always had dogs, and it can be expensive. At one time, we had 6 dogs, big ones. Weimaraners, and blood hounds. You can imagine the food bill, and vet bills.

I don't own a credit card anymore. After digging myself out of the seemingly bottomless pit of credit card debt, I thought it wise not to allow myself the temptation. If I can't afford it, I don't need it. That was the plan, anyhow....until I got Ralph's Visa. I've managed to max it out, so now I'm back to paying credit card bills. I hate credit cards.
