| cprasky | posted 4-Apr-2009 11:09am I am a professional driver, I work as a medical courier shuffling medical specimens, reports and sometimes body parts between hospital labs. I am on the road 8 - 10 hours every day and have no traffic citations. |
| cprasky | (reply to Galomorro) posted 4-Apr-2009 11:11am Heh! No surprise there, I didn't drive when I lived in San Francisco either. A personal car is more of a liability than an asset in that environment. |
| LindaH | (reply to cprasky) posted 4-Apr-2009 12:16pm My cousin tells me that you can smell giardia through the container. Can you? |
| Galomorro | (reply to cprasky) posted 4-Apr-2009 12:17pm I know someone else who refuses to drive in SF. There are not enuff parking places, and it's sad to see cars getting towed away so often too. We have lots of one-way streets and this is confusing to drivers. I don't know how to give directions to drivers cuz I just walk and take the buses, etc. and don't pay much attention to the one-way streets, but drivers often have to circle around and go outa their way... |
| cprasky | (reply to LindaH) posted 4-Apr-2009 12:23pm I dunno. What does giardia smell like? This is a germ is it not? The body parts I transport most frequently are bones, and these are generally packed in dry ice. I sometimes transport body parts to and from the histology/pathology labs, and these are packed in containers of formaldehyde. With those, what I smell is formaldehyde. |
| LindaH | (reply to cprasky) posted 4-Apr-2009 12:30pm oh, ok. yeah. it's a germ |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 4-Apr-2009 12:41pm No am not a reckless driver but i drive a little faster than the speed limit |

Yeah. "Sometimes". It is not a daily occurrence and they are neatly packaged in insulated boxes and coolers, so I don't have to look at 'em. |

| LJD | posted 4-Apr-2009 2:58pm NO... Reckless driving is so irresponsible. |
| gambler | posted 5-Apr-2009 9:58pm No....... living here, you cannot be as every other F**ker is reckless and would then almost guarantee your death |
| cerealkiller | posted 5-Apr-2009 11:29pm No. I used to take risks when younger but not anymore. I don't see any reason these days to risk getting killed to save a few seconds. |
