When is the last time you bought fresh flowers?

I think once in my life when someone died and I felt obligated to buy flowers -- and at that time actually had the money to do so. I'd prefer to buy a live plant if I knew the person I was buying for liked plants at all -- and for myself I would only buy a live plant. It's depressing when those expensive bouquets die.

I buy myself some lovely flowers sometimes

I buy fresh flowers every month or two. I'm not so great at keeping plants alive, but I do like having them around while they're beautiful.

Last year - October. For my wedding. Don't think I've bought any since then.

A few months ago...

Probably last year. I almost bought some today, but decided I could find better things to do with my money.

Valentine's day.

hm... well, I got them at Walmart, so I'm not sure they qualify as "fresh" (probably made in China!) ...but, they lasted for nearly 2 weeks, so that's something.

Longer ago than last year but I don't remember.

I guess that would be when I sent money to contribute to Otter's flowers.

Before that, it was a small plant with miniature roses. I got it for my mom because when I saw it, I knew she just had to have one.

Never, but I had them bought for me the day before yesterday.

Over a year ago

A few months ago. Some time last fall.

Last week: Pink lilies.

I had beautiful flowers sent to me by the wonderful folks at SC. I bought flowers for Otter's services.

Ordered flowers sent to a relative's wedding. Never buy fresh flowers in the store. My wife doesn't like flowers and the cats would eat them.

I bought some for the yard a month ago.

I bought some for my Mum a few months ago.

Last October when my friend was graduating.
