| joe | posted 24-Mar-1998 1:50pm i would give myself a vorpal sword +2 against Undead just kidding, i would cure my depression |
| Atzilut | posted 24-Mar-1998 2:18pm AD&D disorder. sad, really. |
| Jaime | posted 25-Mar-1998 2:55am None of the above. But MEMORY and PATIENCE, I need a lot... |
| jcdino | posted 25-Mar-1998 7:22pm Golly, makes life sound an awful lot like an RPG. I just wish I knew the rules of the game ;) |
| romkey | posted 26-Mar-1998 10:22am Will or focus. |
| KP | posted 26-Mar-1998 2:31pm Ah, AD&D - that takes me back. Being asthmatic, short-sighted, and having a preposterous amount of allergies (oh my god, I sound like a geek!) I could probably do with an extra point or two of Constitution. |
| elijahblue | posted 26-Mar-1998 7:49pm Constitution. I always get whatever cold or flu is going around. |
| Twanger | posted 27-Mar-1998 3:25am Someone's been playing a little too much D and D. |
| bill | posted 30-Mar-1998 1:02pm FYI, these characteristic are from "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" a game that was very popular with kids and adults from my generation. Every player of the game had these as part of their stats. |
| Pomeranian | posted 30-Mar-1998 7:57pm Now, where have I seen that list before...:) |
| Dolemite | posted 31-Mar-1998 2:16pm I said intelligence. I think it would be most useful to be more intelligent no matter how smart you are. |
| booker | posted 5-Apr-1998 10:46pm love to know who the 4 people are who wouldn't want the chance to improve any of these! |
| miyu | posted 12-Apr-1998 6:43pm D&D... hmmm... it always seemed easier to decide this for my characters... as for me, i like them all. |
| Tonya | posted 16-Apr-1998 7:01am The smarter the better |
| Crimson | posted 20-Apr-1998 5:01pm Wisdom, definitely - a better perspective on life would be great. (wouldn't mind an extra point or two of dexterity or charisma as well...) |
| Jimmy | posted 22-Apr-1998 5:36am i'm a physical wreck from being not only a rough player but also accident-prone, so strength i guess |
| copprtop | posted 26-Apr-1998 5:57am What I'd really like to improve most is motivation, because I think it would make more difference in my life than any of the above, even though I wouldn't mind a nice boost in any of those as well. :-} But if I had to choose from the above, I think I would choose wisdom. |
| nbarone | posted 26-Apr-1998 9:59am I've never had cause to wish any of my physical characteristics was improved, nor those having to do with "thinking". The one aspect i often find myself berating myself over is a serious case of shyness/introvertedness. I guess that falls under charisma. |
| Lorax | posted 26-Apr-1998 12:29pm This is tough, but I think I would choose charisma. I think I already have the power and opportunity to improve the other choices ... I admit I don't have a clue as to how to improve my charisma though ... |
| Mark | posted 4-May-1998 5:51pm Still using the old D&D characteristics, I see! Wisdom is one of the two (Constitution being the other) that I would have trouble figuring how to go about improving by concerted effort. The others seem to me to be things one could improve by "working on it" in one way or another, so it seems to me that I already have the "power and opportunity" (if not the time) to improve them. I'm reasonably healthy, and don't feel particularly vulnerable to disease, so I choose Wisdom, for the purpose of this survey, at least. |
| drdt | posted 7-May-1998 1:55pm What, no Comeliness? |
| truss | posted 14-May-1998 11:29am Let's go with "Motivation," here. |
| jjg | posted 14-May-1998 3:19pm I allready have 18s in them all. My player cheated when he created me. |
| reality | posted 15-May-1998 4:53pm D&D anyone? heheheh I choose intelligence. that is the only one that I couldn't improve through natural means. I think I am above average intelligence now, but a bit more wouldn't hurt. |
| kadai | posted 15-May-1998 6:10pm I'd want more patience. I'm happy with my present state in relation to all those other qualities. |
| plots | posted 29-May-1998 11:40am eh I am pretty happy with myself... I wouldn't change much |
| FateIsRandom | posted 12-Jun-1998 3:46pm Skill. To be better at what I already do well in, there is a very broad range for me so over all I think that would be the most intelligent decision. You planning on making an RPG game? How about magic talents. Ha ha ha |
| Doom03 | posted 3-Aug-1998 2:10am Well I chose Charisma, so I rolled the dice and it came out to be 18 out of 20, but since I'm a dwarf I get minus 7 on my charisma scale. At least I still get my axe with my good dexterity. Maybe that magic amulet the rogue with the good constitution gave me will help me a bit, eh? |
| dpolicar | posted 7-Aug-1998 5:51pm Spot the D&D players in the audience... |
| planner | posted 18-Sep-1998 12:42am in my abs |
| Kari | posted 22-Sep-1998 10:50pm I would choose strength, I tend to be lazy. So maybe if I were stronger emotionally I could force myself to get up and do more. I have actually been tested as above average in I. Q. tests so I could probably accomplish a lot if I ever could force myself to. |
| lizzie | posted 4-Dec-1998 12:08pm I'm screwed up enough, what makes me think I can pick one of these and become an improved person as a result? At least I know what I have here. |
