| smurf | (reply to LJD) posted 30-Mar-2009 1:39am What do you like on your pizza? Do you have any favourites? |
| Enheduanna | posted 30-Mar-2009 7:48am I like mushrooms, onions, and sausage best. Not necessarily all together. Mushrooms are the one topping I'll almost always have. |
| cprasky | posted 30-Mar-2009 8:56am DePauli's Pizza on Fillmore St. in San Francisco used to have a pizza made with linguica which I liked a lot. I like vegetarian pizza quite a bit, but there are quite a few varieties of this. My favorite is made with onions, garlic and mushrooms. I also like anchovies on a pizza. The one thing I do not like on a pizza and do not understand how it came to be put on a pizza is pineapple. Pineapple and tomato sauce were not made for each other. |
| cloudhugger | posted 30-Mar-2009 9:18am Vegetarian pizza. Taco pizza can be pretty good too. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to cprasky) posted 30-Mar-2009 9:21am Pineapple rocks on a pizza. We order pineapple, shredded beef and green peppers. Light sauce is the key.
I used to live down the road from a place that made vegetarian pizza with large chunks of vegetable. Fresh large pieces. Living near Chicago at that time really destroyed me when I moved south. I got depressed in this small town because I couldn't get a decent pizza. We have a good one now, even tho it took 10 years. These people will eat anything |
| Cain | posted 30-Mar-2009 9:34am All of the above - I like any kind of pizza. |
| Galomorro | posted 30-Mar-2009 10:58am Don't like it much and rarely eat it but prefer homemade with lots of cheese and soft crusts when I do. |
| LJD | (reply to smurf) posted 30-Mar-2009 1:13pm I love pepperoni, anchovies, vegetables, garlic especially. I really don't know the names of the pizzas. I rarely eat pizza, but I love it. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 30-Mar-2009 1:38pm I love vegetarian pizza just so good and sausage and cheese |

| cerealkiller | posted 30-Mar-2009 7:11pm Easier to list what I don't like - Hawaiian and veggie. |
| Jody | posted 31-Mar-2009 4:25pm I like a Margherita pizza, with fresh tomatoes and basil and mozzarella. I also like ricotta on my pizza. |

| llamamama | posted 1-Apr-2009 4:12pm White pizza is truly amazing.
But really, anything..except mushrooms. Ew. |
| they | posted 3-Apr-2009 11:50pm Yes. |
| Biggles | posted 10-Apr-2009 6:41pm I like a thin-crust margherita, or anything with plenty of good quality mozzarella and freshly torn basil leaves. |
| Biggles | posted 10-Apr-2009 6:45pm When I make my own pizza, I like to do thick(ish) crust (I don't have a decent thin crust recipe - no matter how thin I roll, it seems to puff right up!) with home-made tomato sauce, sparingly scattered with some (very) strong cheddar, some sweetcorn, pineapple and possibly some red onion and parsley or basil. My American housemate considers putting sweetcorn on a pizza to be tantamount to pooing on it, but I like sweetcorn on pizza... |
| Biggles | (reply to llamamama) posted 10-Apr-2009 6:46pm White pizza? |
| llamamama | (reply to Biggles) posted 10-Apr-2009 6:58pm It has no tomato sauce..and instead has ricotta and mozarella cheese.
Apparently it's most common on the east coast..But it's very delicious. |
| Biggles | (reply to llamamama) posted 10-Apr-2009 7:01pm That does sound good. I had a great pizza once that was a hot base, spread with some hot pesto-like substance but scattered with cold buffalo mozzarella and freshly torn basil. It was very tasty! |
| llamamama | (reply to Biggles) posted 10-Apr-2009 7:08pm Wow, that sounds really good, too! |
| Melf | posted 11-Apr-2009 11:49pm I was in the food section of Camden market yesterday, bought a pizza from this very awesome guy. He got the dough, rolled it all out, did the toppings and whatnot while taking the orders (in both fluent English and Italian), taking other pizzas out of the oven and serving them, and making the boxes. I was like, whoa. |
