Well....the look on his face looks like he is being yelled at by his mom, because of that pouty superior look, like he knows better than her. So I am thinking the woman is pushing his buttons the way his mom did. His arms are folded so it is something he is not open to at all. His hands are tensely clutching his arms so he is upset about what she is saying, plus I don't think he is too happy about being backed up against the wall.
She is gently touching his arm in a non aggressive manner, and her eyes are not psychotic looking. Her mouth is tense so she is adamant about what she is saying. Her standing back and leaning towards him to be more in his space tells me they are somewhat close but not lovers, or at least it is not a lovers quarrel.
It looks like they are in the hallway of a school so I'm guessing high school? They look a bit old to be students in high school and a colledge doesn't usually look so sterile. He is clutching his papers or books tightly against his chest to protect that his heart and his stomach.

She is telling him he should do something he doesn't want to. So shcool is usually about love or tests but it doesn't look like a love issue. I think the woman would be more emotional if it was a love thing. So it might have to be about dancing.

So what is the answer?

Maybe she's just a dog, who likes to show she's a dog by expressing her doginess, by yelling like a dog..... *shrugs*

Wow! You have quite the grasp on body language. Actually, she's yelling about how's he's being a schmuck (like Bill said), pissed about the prom.

In my offense...movies made in the 80's were pretty simple.

I just now realized how close in age we are. For some reason, I always thought of you as far older than me....

Yeah? I didn't see your age on your users page. I'm 36...but honestly, I feel like I'm 39. 40's right around the corner in my mind, because I want to have a kid.

I'm 32. I thought for sure you were in your mid-40's at least. I knew something was wrong with that perception when you knew this movie so well. * smile *

Ugh. Having babies. I pined for years to have another one... this one, I was going to be ready for. I tried for years on a regular basis with two different men... no big surprise, it's me that can't have babies anymore. I finally got pregnant two years ago and had a miscarriage on 4/19/2007. After that, I lost the "want". I (and my daughter) are just too damn old for another one. I don't think I have the energy to start over. But maybe that's just me wishing deep down that if I say I don't want one out loud..... it will still happen.

I've always been a late bloomer. I really haven't pined much until the past several months. I'm hoping that my eggs are late to 'get old', too.
My SO and I've been talking about marriage. So as you can see, I've a tendency to do things a lot later than others. Which makes it strange that you thought I was older.

Anyways, tell Jenny I said Hi. I always liked her too.

Jenny's trying to make babies now too... and struggling. They had her husband's vasectomy reversed in December.

I'll tell her you said hi * smile *
