In some of my darker moments, I've actually considered it as a possibility.

Totally. I am morally opposed to marriage, but I could see myself taking advantage of it and adding to the statistics of failed marriages.

My motive? Money, of course. Divorce settlement, palimony... I'd take it whatever came my way.

Not seriously. If I did, it would be totally out in the open that it isn't a 'real' marriage and we are only friends, doing this for convenience. Neither of us would be pretending and playing games. It would be a brazen attempt for both of us to manipulate the system.

No. As appealing as it sometimes sounds. I remember a few years ago I said in front of my SO and a couple of friends that I was still sort of realizing that I probably wasn't going to marry someone with a lot of money. They all looked at me, horrified. I don't think they really got what I was saying, and it's impossible to explain.

I like to think I could manage this.

No. I'd marry only for love. I have dated for money. Not my proudest moment, but I'm not going to bow down in shame over it. Crap happens.

I'll say no, but that's conditional on my life never being all that different. If I were living in very different circumstances, marrying someone for financial security could be the best way to survive.
