Does your computer seem to go fast then all of a sudden it is real slow?

It doesn't seem to do that... it does! I chalk it up to connectivity.

It's because you're pressing the keys on the keyboard too hard and you're overloading the memory box. Try typing using only your little fingers.

It will go normal for a while, but a few minutes into browsing the web, it will go reaaaaaaaaaallllyyyyyyyyy slow, busy doing something, and then go all normal again. I have no idea what that is, or why the computer doesn't do what it needs to do right at startup, and not 10-20 minutes into my session.

No, but only because my computer never goes fast in the first place. I'd like to get a newer one, but I don't really want to spend that much money when this one works fine (I've never had any problems with it besides the speed).

Yes. It get's really slow, like waiting for the letters I typed to appear one by one slow, same with the scrolling. It only affects FireFox though, not other open apps. I wonder if Skype is to blame.

Well, mostly that might happen in the beginning, but then I assume it gets "warmed up." I don't know.
