Once somebody did this to me - it was one those colourblindness tests, and I jumped and ran from my room screaming when the face came at me.

Ever since, I've been paranoid doing anything online, unless I'm on a website that I trust.

Fudge i jumped and nearly had a heart attack my speakers were turned up and i did not know it scared the crap out
of me the haunted house and no should not do this to people they may wind up in the E.R. ?

I knew it. I looked at it for a few seconds..then I minimized it because I didn't want to pee my pants..Then curiosity began to get the better of me..so I was about to maximize it again..when it screamed.

I have been made paranoid from them also. I sometimes turn down my volume as pages are loading if I'm suspicious.

Mary still remembers the sound this makes. Anytime I'm in another room watching something that even sounds similar, she asks me about it. She's still worried about that thing. It's been at least 5 years since she was scared by it.

I just really don't like these things because they could seriously give a heart attack to someone.

Hm. I didn't even see the part where I had to turn up my speaker. I had it on mute when I looked at it the first time, so I only noticed now the gag. Pretty lame, Jessica.
