Are you a pathological liar?

Pathological lying is falsification entirely disproportionate to any discernible end in view, may be extensive and very complicated, and may manifest over a period of years or even a lifetime. (Charles C. Dike, MD, MRCPsych, MPH)

No. I'm not lying now.
Every once in a while I become a fictitious character, but I'm totally upfront about it.

No. However, if I'm a pathological liar, who's to say I'm not lying now?

No.

I used to lie a lot when I was younger, but that's mostly because I wasn't happy with who I was.

No.

But there are few instances in my past where I've almost believed my own lies after a while...and I have known many pathological liars... so I can spot one a mile away.

I think it would be kind of fun to at least pretend to believe your own lies.

Especially if you act appalled that people don't believe you. * wink *

I hate lies. The only lies I can think of that I started to believe are ones I've told to employers... like "I was sick"

I have met people that can lie so well they even believe what they are saying. BUT I think honesty is the best policy.
