How many cats are enough?

Four is the maximum for me. I had 5, but one moved out with the ex. Five was too many. My sister has twice as much space than me, with 5 cats and it still seems like too many.

I used to think 2 was the best number, but I now think 1 would be better. I'm actually looking forward to a period of zero cats at some point in my future.

However many you can take care of responsibly.

depends on the house size and whether they are indoor or outdoor or both................. i can't decide that for someone else. for me, 3 is slightly over the top! we are at cat maximum capacity(CMC).

The only cats I like are temporary residents of the local Chinese restaurant.

As many as you are capable of looking after properly and want.

I think two should be a required number of cats to own, if you're going to own any.

You mean 1,2,3,4, 5 or more DOZEN, right?

I think the limit is when you reach a point where you can't afford to care for them properly (nutrition, medications, etc.) or when it becomes overwhelming with them controlling your whole life, destroying your house and causing you too much work and stress.

For me, zero. I don't like cats, never did. I'd rather have a dog.

It is amazing watching them squeeze their fat body under a gate og squish they go , and i have 3 babies for you ?

I'm gonna say 2. I only have one..but..two seems fun..more than that and I'd be worried.

you will seem like a crazy cat person if you have too many
