You don't need the money. What is the perfect job for you?

It has to be ordinarily paid work.

There are lots of jobs I think I would like. I like being a college professor. I think I'd like other things as much, though.

A vicar, if I actually believed in it all. Beekeeping would be amazing. Or reading audiobooks.

I'm not on my current career path for the money, so I'll stick with being a doctor/physician. (Though if it were a question of not needing certain skills rather than not needing the money, I might be tempted into other fields).

You can volunteer to read audiobooks * smile * If you don't need the money! I just heard about that website today and quite fancy getting involved myself.

I think most of us, at one time another, accumulate some clutter. I collect books, political, and holistic medicine material. I also like to sew, gather material.

My youngest daughter, when in high school, along with a school chum, would go after school, earned a little money, doing housework for some elderly people, plus did retail work. The highschool had an employment office for students. This kept the kids working throughout high school. My sons did yardwork for the elderly, plus worked retail. Keep this in mind if you ever need work around the house....check your local high school.

Why does it have to be ordinary paid work? I don't do that now.

I'd be formally and with resources exactly what I've been already indirectly, a think tank director. At the moment I'm just a volunteer think-tank consultant. I don't have my own Batcave or armies of supervillain scientists yet.

My domains would remain as they are now: Arts, Engineering, Politics, Urban Renewal, Metaphysics.

And when I retire it will be to sculpt harmonicas and cuckoo-clocks at a forested beach, running an engineering commune and orchard.

I don't know. Something I could take to, easily. It wouldn't require too much socializing. I'd be able to discover something I'm good at. I hate being mediocre. Of course, I'd have to enjoy it.
